Switchgear for rolling stock
The switches of series SD, SE, SDE and SCO have a modular design and can be used for the function disconnect, earthing, disconnect and earthing as well as switching between two circuits (change-over).

The SCO2, SCO3 and SCO4 HV changeover units come in series of 2, 3, and 4 position assemblies. They are manually operated or driven by a linear or geared motor. Multipole and of modular design, they sport up to 10 rotating switching chambers fitted with 8 contacts and one or two knives each.

The rotary scissor switches are designed for off-load adjustment of electrical configurations, especially of multi-system locomotives, but also as reliable HV disconnectors for the power converters and traction motors of electric railway vehicles.
