Power contactors and more for rail transport

Electrical components in trains have to meet high demands in terms of compactness, modularity and universality. Schaltbau GmbH will be presenting its broad product portfolio for railway vehicles at the InnoTrans trade fair from 20 to 23 September in Berlin on Stand 110 in Hall 2.2b.

One focal point at the stand will be the presentation of the complete CP contactor series: the DC and AC contactors can be individually configured as NO/NC contactor, disconnector or changeover switch, which ensures a high degree of flexibility in railway applications.
For synchronous motors in railway applications that operate at frequencies above 50 Hz, we will show the 3-pole AC contactors of the CF series.
Also included are bidirectional DC contactors with a breaking capacity of up to 2,500 A.

The wide Schaltbau portfolio is complemented by the UIC-IT connectors for Ethernet applications, as well as by the complete range of our snap-action switches and microswitches for train door control systems and much more.

Visit us at the trade fair. Our experts will be happy to advise you on all aspects of safety applications for rail transport.
